TIPS TO STAY SAFE OF THE ROAD
TIPS TO STAY SAFE OF THE ROAD

1. Wear Proper Safety Gear: Always wear a well-fitted helmet and high-visibility clothing. Use gloves, padded shorts, and cycling shoes for comfort and protection during the B2B Cycle Tour’s long distances.

2. Stay Aware of Surroundings: Keep your head up and scan for traffic, pedestrians, and road hazards. Avoid distractions like earphones.

3. Follow Traffic Rules: Obey all traffic signals, signs, and lane markings. Signal your turns clearly and ride predictably to communicate with drivers, especially at intersections.

4. Maintain Your Bike: Check your bike before the tour—ensure tires are inflated, brakes work, and chains are lubricated. Carry a repair kit for flats or minor issues during the ride.

5. Ride Defensively: Keep a safe distance from vehicles, avoid blind spots, and be cautious at junctions. Assume drivers may not see you and be prepared to react to sudden moves.

Emergency Medical assistance, aswell as Police escorts are available in strategic areas, provisions are made for rider safety, so let's all play our part :)
